Payment
We offer many different payment options for your shipment. Below is the normal procedure for all shipments although you can make special arrangements with your shipping consultant if necessary.
Deposit
For most LTL (less than truckload) and all air freight shipments, a deposit of $200-$300 is acceptable and will be deducted from your final invoice. For full truckloads or shipments exceeding 5000lbs, the deposit is normally $500. All deposit amounts are negotiable and are only required to secure pick-up services for a specific date.
Balance
The final balance is due within 3 days of the pick-up or drop-off date. If additional time for payment is needed, a special arrangement can be made with your shipping consultant.
Wire
HW shipping maintains its corporate accounts with Bank of America. A $45 wire transfer fee must be added to all payments done by wire transfer. As an option, all payments can be deposited directly into our account at any Bank of America branch without incurring any additional charges.

PayPal
All credit card transactions must be processed online using our secure PayPal email address. There is a 5% processing fee for using this service. |
Check
This is our preferred payment method. While a check can be mailed to our corporate address, payment is processed faster by scanning or photographing a check and emailing it to our office. The scanned image is processed through our special equipment and automatically deposited without any additional fees. The physical check can be voided and retained for your records.
